Your place or mine is basically what I asked.... Of course it had to be her's after giving birth she couldn't ride or fly 12 hours! 

My dear sweet friend Misty had her first granddaughter 15 days ago. You know just like most grandparents (birdy in her case) is over the moon and just can't stand it, and had to have her new grand baby's newborn pictures taken and I was so honored to be the photographer. 

This is what happened... 

Months ago, I photographed her son Brayden's senior portraits while they were home for thanksgiving. Chit chatting about the new baby and all the things that have happened in the years from the last photoshoot, she said I wish you were closer to photography the baby on the way. I said me too but I will help find someone to do them. Time passes and the baby was born on the week before my birthday and this year I asked for something more then a gift. I wanted to travel. I love to go and see new things and yes of course take pictures! Well, as of last week we still had not figured out where to go and Misty asked me one more time the morning of the delivery and I said I think it will work out.  Sooooo not only did I get a tour guide of some amazing places in Texas but I also got to snuggle with a sweet little one.
