How well do you know this lady??? Or should I say, have you seen her around snapping pictures at events? Or in the hallway? How about running around trying to get people gathered up for pictures... It's all for the yearbook!
Well, for me and my boys (Hayden, my baby boy named her aunt liss) I've know Melissa for years. Our husbands worked together and sadly her family was one of the first families I photographed 13 years ago, Im glad I have learned a few things scene then. I am honored to be able to work with her on this project each year.
ANYHOW! Truly have you ever thought what or how much time goes into planning, putting together, making sure there are images of all events and special moments, selling senior ads, selling yearbooks, editing each page, and publishing a yearbook? Let me answer this for you, TONS and tons and tons of hours! Even when "school" isn't in session. Melissa Luckey is the one that does it along with her staff (several girls which I would miss someone if I named them). Is it perfect? Well, we would hope so but we are human and make mistakes sometimes, but we try. I just wanted to take a moment and introduce to you this hard working young lady that loves putting it together and working hard on it. If you see her tell her thanks for her hard work! Also for pushing her girls to get those pages done, before the deadlines. :)
Have you ever thought how important a annual or yearbook is? When its all said and done, years later all you have is PICTURES of memories that tells the story of that year, and those special moments and events. Did you purchase one for this year?
In my next post, I will share with you the 2021 yearbook staff at Puckett High School. I look forward to photographing these young ladies each year.
